Nutrition - elixir of youth

CB101828We very well know that aging is inevitable, but each of us has the power and different ways to delay this process, and to diminish it effects, as it is possible.

For many people, advance in age is similar to the appearance of various diseases such as cardiopulmonary diseases, osteoporosis, problems with joints and gaps of memory.

Somber prospect indeed. But as I say, is in our power to modify somewhat this “scenario”. One of the most important weapons we have available is the style of eating.

Antioxidants, present in abundance in fruits, vegetables and whole grains, are an important means by which you can delay the degenerative effects of the passage of time.

It is essential to try as much to combat free radicals, as they contribute significantly to the aging process and to some serious diseases.

The question is “how could you do this, concretely?”

You may think that it is too early to put this question to you, in all, until you reach that age is lot of time, no joke. Do not contradict, but I suggest you remember what Coco Chanel said: “In 20 years, a woman has skin that nature gave them. At 40age, has skin that you deserve.”

Well, the above statement could be adapted very well in context. Reasonably speaking, if you now don’t keep in mind some key issues (and simple!) you cannot later expect to be very easy in terms of maintaining health and why not beauty.

W cannot say that it is difficult; in fact, the idea is to feed so as to ensure the body needs with antioxidants. This can be achieved by eating certain foods, which is good to include them as frequently as possible in the menu.

The most significant elements that you don’t have to miss in your daily schedule are:

• Nuts
• Fish
• Olive oil
• Fruit and vegetables
